Introducing Oliver | My First Year™ Part 1 | Canterbury, Kent

I’ve just spent the last few days working away. I had 3 photo shoots in 3 days and all of them in Kent. Its been fantastic set of shoots with 3 wonderful families.

The first of my shoots was with the gorgeous Oliver and his lovely family, Hannah and Will (Mum and Dad) and Isabelle (proud big sister).

Oliver was born in June, but at not even a month old, he behaves like a true star in front of the camera! He was wide awake for most of the shoot. Most new babies I have photographed are usually asleep for the whole shoot. I am so glad that Oliver was awake….look at his brilliant eyes! He knew exactly what going on!

I also got to take some great shots of Oliver with his Mum and Dad and his big sister Isabelle. What a gorgeous family, all of them were great to photograph!

While Oliver had a quick costume change, I focused on getting some shots of Isabelle while she showed me her pink bedroom, read me some books and introduced me to her favourite teddies. Great images of Big Sister!

Hannah and Will treated me to pizza & beers while watching their audio-visual presentation later in the evening. Thanks Will and Hannah – much appreciated!!

I’m really looking forward to photographing Oliver over his first year. I can’t wait to see how he grows and changes over the next year. I know he is going to be a character….its already there in his eyes!
